Ask for copies of Genetic test results, don't always trust their word. This is going to be your companion for a long time, and its your right to know the quality of where your puppy is coming from.

Always take caution to breeders who market genetically mutated / diluted colors as "rare"this in fact is not a fair representation. Some colors can be produced through recessive genes. When that happens, a breeder should represent it as such, not as a marketing ploy to up-charge someone.

These are not acceptable color variations through AKC Standards.

Also be advised that some of those above mentioned colors can sometimes encounter a condition called color dilute Alopecea, which means these dogs are prone to thinner coats and sometimes hair loss, or they can just have less hair in their coat.

These are the acceptable AKC colors:

Brindle, Seal, Black (all with white markings)

Relax! And welcome to maximumcompanion where we take quality "to the max" we are located in southern sunny California between Los Angeles and San Diego. Boston’s have been a part of our family for many years and now we have added the delightful French Bulldog! My daughter chose our first Boston and started our local "4 -h chapter dog club. She later became interested in agility as well as conformation showing. Our hobby that involved the happy go lucky little Boston terrier grew from this! We fell in love with this breed, its looks, personality all rolled into this little dog who earned the name "the American gentleman" So here we are now after careful years of research and knowledge gathered from learning through trial and error, support from fellow Boston club members and enthusiasts, producing some of the finest Boston’s that we like to consider enhancing to the breed standard.beautiful Boston terriers that make us proud in the show ring but yet melt your heart when they are snuggled up beside you! We are owned by the Boston terrier and French Bulldog ...and it is a privilege! . Developed as a companion breed, they have certainly "earned" that reputation!

Or intention is to breed show quality bostons and frenchies as close to the breed standard and of course to improve if possible! When we do have puppies available ,those that do not meet "show standard " in our opinion are sold to pet homes! We feel it is very exciting when adding a Boston to your family, giving you a lifetime of adventure!

We are a member of the Boston Terrier Club of America (in good standing) and on the Board for our local Chapter- The Pasadena Boston Terrier Club.We are also members of The San Diego French Bulldog Club and The Orange Empire Dog Club!

We screen and certify for genetic defects (congenital, PATELLA/BAER /CERF/JHC/Cardiac/DM /OFA ).

The boston terrier and the French Bulldog are both breeds who love to be around people! Although I dont feel any dog should be "left in the backyard"alone without attention,they really likes to be "part of the family" They are willing to be a "couch potato" and also ready for that long hike or a day on "the river".This is truly a really "versatile" little dog!

They are very loving and natural little clowns that will keep you laughing for hours! They are great little companions for children as well as adults. Their sleek ,wash & wear coats make grooming easy for all! They are very intelligent, fun and easy to train.

Obtaining a sound , healthy puppy is extremely important to us and we do urge everyone to do their homework and check out any breeder before you decide to purchase.. You should always meet the breeder and the parents of your new puppy before you purchase and feel comfortable with them! .We have received horrible stories of unfortunate people who have purchased puppies from poor breeders who were not responsible...met their customers in parking lots etc. among other things.
